June 10, I will give a presentation at the WEON conference in Nijmegen. In short, my presentation will discuss how to perform a meta-analysis when several univariable associations of a biomarker or other test are known (eg. from published literature) and an individual patient dataset is at hand.

April 10, I am attending a symposium on Bayesian Methods in Medical Research. This symposium is organised by Department of Biostatistics (Erasmus University Rotterdam) and has Emmanuel Lesaffre, Sander Greenland, Helene Thygesen, Bas Engel, Andrew Gelman, Ziv Shkedy and John Whittaker as guest speakers.

February 17, I am attending a one-day short course in Leuven (Belgium) on Bayesian data analysis. The course will be given by Andrew Gelman, professor of statistics and political science and director of the Applied Statistics Center at Columbia University.
